This Cookie Notice should be read in conjunction with the AsterAlpine Client and Vendor Privacy Notice.
This Cookie Notice does not apply to any domains that we do not own or control including: InvestNext, Google, or to any third-party domains where AsterAlpine advertisements are displayed.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file which is downloaded to your device or browser when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie, in order to develop a record of the user's online activity. Cookies may be delivered by the website a user visits, or by third parties. First party Cookies are set by AsterAlpine and belong to the website domain that appears in the browser address bar.
Types of cookies
- Necessary cookies: Necessary cookies help keep our websites secure while enabling network management, site functionality and accessibility. You may disable necessary cookies in your browser settings, but that may affect how the website functions for you.
- Preference cookies: Preference cookies enable us to store certain user selections or preferences and allows for a more tailored website experience.
- Statistical Analytics: Measure the performance of our website and collect aggregate level information on how you use our site, for us to provide you with the best possible digital experience. Non-cookie tracking technologies
We may also use web beacons (including conversion pixels, which are small codes located on a particular web page which are triggered when someone visits a page resulting in an increase in the conversion count.) or other technologies for similar purposes as above and we may include these on our sites, in marketing e-mail messages or newsletters, affiliated websites – including client platforms and products –, to determine whether messages have been opened and links clicked on.
How to block all cookies and what this will mean
